Job Description: Class SummaryThe ideal candidate will have prior experience in a supervisory position in industrial equipment maintenance as well as a complete understanding of the functions of Facilities Maintenance and preventative maintenance of water or wastewater treatment plant equipment. Additionally, the completion of a training program or apprenticeship in the mechanical or electrical trades, experience in the repair of water or wastewater treatment plant equipment, or a related field, a basic understanding electrical safety in an industrial plant, and experience in planning and scheduling work in addition to experience working with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) will be ideal in this position.
This job is a safety sensitive position that will require a pre-employment drug test and subsequent random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with Gwinnett County Drug and Alcohol Free Workplace.The grade for this position is B323.Essential Duties:

- Instructs crews on proper installation, testing, and maintenance of equipment and materials and prepares blue prints, schematics, and related instructions to assist crews.
