Job Description: JobJob Title: Senior Lead Enterprise ArchitectPosition Title: Enterprise Architect (SAP Technical & P2P Architect)Department: DAI TechnologyReports to: Deputy Chief Information OfficerWork Location: Bethesda, MD, or Remote in states where DAI is registered*Position OverviewThe Senior Lead Enterprise Architect will be a senior member of the IT team, specializing in implementing and maintaining SAP technical architecture, including Business Technology Platform (BTP) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) architecture. The Enterprise Architect will play a critical role in aligning IT strategy with business goals by designing scalable, robust, and efficient architectures.This is a full-time permanent position. This position requires the ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.Staff located in the DC Metro Area are expected to be able to work from DAI’s Bethesda, MD office. If approved to work remotely, the incumbent may be required to travel to DAI’s Bethesda, MD office for meetings and events.This position will close on Wednesday, December 11th.ResponsibilitiesSystems Architecture· Enterprise Architecture:o Design and implement enterprise-wide technology architecture frameworks that align with organizational objectives.o Lead EA review sessions and document decisions, ensuring that solutions are built for the future while meeting today’s needs.o Lead architecture discussions, provide insights on emerging technologies, and develop a roadmap for future architecture needs.· SAP Technical Architecture:o Implement and lead SAP Lean IX activities, as the primary tool to help DAI document, manage and optimize the enterprise architecture; identify redundant operations, systems, and processes; and improve integration.o Develop technical specifications for SAP applications, leveraging Business Technology Platform (BTP) to innovate and enhance system capabilities.· P2P Architecture & Technical Lead:o Architect and optimize Procure-to-Pay processes, ensuring seamless integration across various systems and improved operational efficiencies.o Co-Partner with the P2P SME Leader to deliver P2P solutions across future SAP rollouts.o Lead SAP RISE Basis functions for DAI.· Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all architectural solutions, standards, and guidelines.· Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, articulating complex architectural concepts in an understandable way.Collaboration and Mentorship· Mentor and guide junior staff members, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration within the IT department.o Mentor SAP AMS staff in identifying best possible solutions and plans.o Mentor business SMEs on the art of what’s possible and where opportunity exists to improve the efficiency and operability of the P2P solutions.· Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, software developers, and business analysts to ensure all solutions meet business requirements and adhere to IT and SAP best practices.Additional responsibilities as deemed necessary.Qualifications & SkillsMinimum Requirements:· Grade P10: Minimum of 14 years of relevant professional experience and a college degree. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.· Demonstrated progressive experience in leading SAP system solutions for a global SAP practice.· Demonstrated prior experience as an IT architecture lead or similar role, with a strong emphasis on SAP technologies.· Demonstrated experience architecting and implementing P2P solutions.· Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman, etc.).· Demonstrated understanding of cloud technologies and architectures, particularly related to SAP BTP; interest in implementing/utilizing SAP LeanIX.· Demonstrated ability to strategically align technology solutions with business needs and outcomes.· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.· Excellent attention to detail.· Self-directed with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks/competing deadlines simultaneously.· Professional proficiency in MS Office suite.· Able to work as part of a decentralized team with minimal oversight.· Able to handle confidential and/or sensitive information with discretion.· Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally with internal and external clients, and tailor communication style to diverse audiences.· Able to build and maintain excellent working relationships with staff at all levels of the organization and external clients from diverse backgrounds.· Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams, create inclusive work environments, and work effectively within a culturally diverse environment.· Able and willing to adjust work schedule, if needed, to support teams located in different time zones/countries.· Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.· *Based in one of the following U.S. locations where DAI is registered: District of Columbia, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, Washington.Preferred, but not required:· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.· Prior experience leading and managing IT architecture projects in a global, complex enterprise environment.· Demonstrated understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.· SAP related certifications, including but not limited to SAP BTP, PP, MM.· Professional working proficiency in a second language (Spanish, French, Russian, or Arabic preferred).· Able and willing to travel to any country where DAI currently operates, or may wish to operate, barring times when DAI Global Security has deemed travel unsafe.Compensation & Benefits:For employees working the United States, the full-time equivalent annual base salary for this position is expected to be between $155,946 to $207,928. Salary for part-time employees will be prorated based on actual hours worked. Actual offers will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant education, experience, skills, seniority, performance, and business or organizational needs.Eligible U.S. based employees, will be able to enroll in medical, dental and vision insurance, plus a 401(k)-retirement plan with a company match. Additionally, employees will be eligible for company-paid annual leave (vacation & holidays), sick leave, parental leave; as well as short- and long-term disability coverage.
