Job Description: Qualitest is seeking a highly skilled SAP Development Lead to join our Enterprise Team. This remote position offers the opportunity to drive innovation in SAP development and technical support, while collaborating with top professionals in the industry. As part of a global leader in Quality Engineering, you’ll have the flexibility to work remotely while delivering high-quality solutions in a dynamic, AI-powered environment.Role Overview:The SAP Development Lead will oversee the technical development and support of SAP systems within the Application Management Services (AMS) framework. This role requires expert leadership in managing a diverse development team, delivering SAP solutions, and ensuring seamless system maintenance, updates, and enhancements. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in SAP development (ABAP, Fiori/UI5) and be a collaborative leader capable of guiding a team to meet and exceed client expectations.Key Responsibilities:1. Technical Leadership & Solution Design:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of custom SAP solutions, focusing on ABAP, Fiori/UI5, and other relevant technologies.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Drive development of RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) objects in alignment with AMS processes.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, quality assurance practices, and best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

2. AMS Service Delivery & Support:

• Manage and prioritize day-to-day development activities, including incident resolution, change requests, and system enhancements.
• Ensure that all development tasks meet SLAs and are delivered on time.
• Lead troubleshooting and issue resolution for complex SAP applications (ECC6/S/4HANA).
• Oversee the timely implementation of system upgrades, patches, and new features.

3. Team Leadership & Collaboration:

• Lead and mentor a global team of onshore and offshore SAP developers, ensuring high-quality, efficient solutions.
• Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
• Foster a collaborative working environment by partnering with functional consultants, business analysts, and project managers to deliver comprehensive solutions.

4. Process Improvement & Innovation:

• Identify and implement opportunities to optimize the AMS development lifecycle, increasing efficiency and reducing downtime.
• Stay current with SAP technology advancements (e.g., S/4HANA, Fiori/UI5) and recommend innovative solutions that align with business needs.
• Promote best practices for Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) management within the SAP AMS framework.

5. Stakeholder Communication & Engagement:

• Serve as a key point of contact for business stakeholders on all technical aspects of SAP AMS services.
• Provide regular status updates to senior management on project progress, system enhancements, and incident resolution.
• Participate in client meetings to ensure technical solutions align with evolving business requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (master’s degree is a plus).
• Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP development, with a focus on ABAP programming.
• Strong expertise in SAP Fiori/UI5 development is highly desirable.
• Proven experience leading SAP development teams in an AMS environment.
• Solid understanding of SAP functional modules (e.g., FICO, SD, MM) and integration points in ECC6 or S/4HANA environments.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Fiori/UI5, and modern SAP technologies.
• Experience leading global, cross-functional teams in large-scale SAP implementations and support.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
