Job Description: Job Description:Hill International is seeking Plumbing Inspector in Los Angeles, CaliforniaResponsibilities:

• Plumbing Inspector shat have knowledge of the materials and methods used in the installation of plumbing installations
• Shall have a general understanding of plumbing systems including domestic water and sewage systems and thorough knowledge of fire sprinkler pipe installations
• Documents daily progress of the work
• Prepares monthly progress payment request
• Tracks various changes, verifies time and material work
• Measures and documents job quantities
• Documentation and information retrieval may require computer literacy skills

Qualifications:

• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• 3 years or more of experience performing plumbing inspections
• Current ICC Certification as a Commercial Plumbing Inspector
• Possess a thorough 30-hour Cal- OSHA training prior to assignment. The 30-hour training will have been received within the last 4 years
• Proficient in inspection of rough and finish HVAC, plumbing installation including pumps, piping, ducts, equipment, controls, vaults and associated works both in building construction and underground piping
• Knowledge and experience with inspection of fire sprinkler systems also required for this position
• Experience with review and approval of monthly progress payment & as-built drawings from contractor required
• Possible overtime during week and weekends may also be required
• Ability to write clear and effective reports and is capable of working with Microsoft Office and other computer software and applications including Prolog & VEO

The salary range for this position is $100,000 – $130,000.
