Job Description: SummaryNew Beginnings @ Warth Childcare is looking for energetic, trustworthy and dependable people to join our team. We are interviewing for full-time and part-time positions. We are a family-owned center in Sumter and have been in business since 1953! “Warth” was one of the first centers in Sumter to provide a positive and loving place for children while parents work. “Warth” has been passed down through the family and is currently owned by Zanne Morris, a retired public school teacher. Zanne has years of experience in developing young minds and has a Masters Degree as well as being Nationally Board Certified and Director Accredited for South Carolina.DutiesDuties for childcare vary among the age groups and classrooms daily. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: diapering, feeding, and encouraging young children. There are daily cleaning requirements for the classrooms, lesson plans and required trainings.RequirementsWarth is a DSS registered facility. Therefore, there are state requirements to work in our center. You must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. You must be successfully cleared through various state background checks. You must be cleared medically and you are required to get a set documented number of hours of training each year.Nice To HavesExperience
