Title of the Job: Media Blaster

Location: West Allis, WI

Job Description: Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully-equipped electrical distribution and control equipment.We are seeking a 1st Shift Mediablaster to blast our large diesel fuel tanks, steel/aluminum enclosures and steel frames.Responsibilities:

• Set-up parts and sandblast according to directions
• Follow safety rules
• Use personal protective equipment properly
• Follow directions of lead/supervisor
• Participate as team member to meet the demands of the customer

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• 2 to 5 years experience sandblasting in a blast booth in an industrial environment
• Ability to be certified and drive forklifts and overhead crane
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Experience as a painter helpful
