Job Description: Sheet Metal DetailerA leading Mechanical Contractor in the Kansas City area is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Detailer to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detailer with a strong background in Commercial/Industrial HVAC and ductwork systems to advance their career. Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a sheet metal/ductwork detailer in commercial/industrial construction
- Proficiency with Revit and other design software for HVAC and ductwork systems
- Ability to create precise, detailed drawings and models for sheet metal fabrication and installation
- Experience working on projects in healthcare, industrial, educational, hospitality, or commercial spaces is a plus
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed drawings and models for the fabrication and installation of ductwork and HVAC systems in commercial and industrial projects
- Coordinate closely with project managers and subcontractors to ensure accuracy and smooth workflow between design and installation
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards, maintaining high quality and precision in every aspect of detailing work
- Utilize Revit to produce accurate, detailed designs for HVAC and ductwork systems, ensuring all designs meet project requirements and deadlines
- Collaborate with other trades to coordinate HVAC systems within complex commercial/industrial projects
