We are currently searching for Management Analyst. This role will independently provide support services to satisfy the objectives and goals of NHLBI Innovation and Commercialization Office (I&C). The primary objective is to provide services and deliverables through performance of support services. This is a full-time onsite position in Bethesda, MD.Be accountable for administrative office operations, including the Director’s administrative needs and hosting/scheduling meeting on behalf of I&C staff. This includes preparation of meeting agendas, capturing meeting notes and generating and distributing meeting summaries.Provide support on hiring and on-boarding of new staff: screen resumes, schedule interviews, candidate selection, onboarding, and training.Develop, execute, and implement operating polices, and SOPs for day-to-day operations.Prepares reports in the areas of budget, procurement, HR, travel, etc.Conduct budget analysis, estimates & reconciliation of funding & expenditures, ensuring policy compliance.Coordinate travel requests for all I&C members, process travel vouchers, and all other travel related duties.Generate and process procurements and purchases utilizing the POTS system.Responsible for the planning, coordination, and logistics of all (virtual and in person) meetings: Includes weekly team meetings, small group meetings, meetings with external parties, and strategy sessions. Responsible for logistics, booking conference rooms, audio-visual reservations, prepare agendas and relevant materials; capture meeting minutes, generate and distribute meeting summaries and action items.Get trained on NIH grant portfolio analysis tools (QVR, and Qlik) and conduct grant data analysisProvide application analysis support as needed to ICO Staff.Lead efforts related to improving diversity, inclusion, and geographical reach of the NHLBI small business portfolio, as associated with the new I&C goals.Function as the liaison for all external and internal stakeholdersWork with Contractors and provide necessary support for I&C projects.Function as the Divisional Referral Liaison for the Division of Extramural Research ActivitiesReview business, operations and program plans for consistency and compliance with institutional and governmental policies.Attend routine staff and business meetings for awareness and to take notes for distribution.Present information and status updates on projects and studies ongoing within the organization.Conduct formal evaluations for operations and performance and prepares reports and dashboards.Assess organization and design performance measurement and evaluation tools and tactics to document and track performance over time.Performs in-depth analysis and statistical comparison of organizational data and information.Using available software and applications, such as SPSS, R, etc. conduct statistical analysis of financial, performance and workforce data.Use variety of database and data repository software and applications available to search, retrieve and export business and performance data.Assist program managers prepare annual budgets based on historical and estimated future spending.Conduct workforce studies and provide in-depth analysis and reporting.Mentor and train junior management analysts.Coordinate with other senior management analysts to review and standardize practices and procedures to ensure consistency of quality and outcomes.What You Will Need:Master’s Degree OR Bachelor’s plus THREE (3) years of related experience is equivalent to a Master’s Degree.Be proficient in Zoom, Webex, Adobe Suites and/or Microsoft tools (Teams, Outlook, Forms, SharePoint, Microsoft Office).Ability and desire to master customer relationship management software (e.g., salesforce), website design and content management systems (e.g., Drupal), and data visualization tools (e.g., Google maps).Ability to interpret and apply appropriate federal regulations, policies and procedures related to travel, meeting planning, and timekeeping.Strong oral and written communication skills.Have Analytical and problem-solving skills.Previous experience in Outreach Activities and/or Data Analysis.What Would Be Nice To Have:Previous experience with the National Institute of Health (NIH).A minimum of ONE (1) year professional experience is preferred.The annual salary range for this position is $75,800.00-$113,600.00.
