Job Description: Join us at Holy Family HospitalOur two campuses in Methuen and Haverhill have a total of 320 beds, and we are a full-service, acute care hospital offering comprehensive inpatient medical/surgical units, outpatient care, and 24/7 emergency services. We have three behavioral health units: cardiac telemetry, and critical care service lines. Our Haverhill campus offers all private rooms, and our Methuen campus offers a new state-of-the-art catheterization suite and Joint Center of Excellence, named as a Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Distinction+ Center for Knee and Hip Replacement.Job Description:

• Performs assigned work orders within target date.
• Tours assigned areas and reviews log book at least once per day. Takes notice of, and promptly communicates and documents all findings.
• Under the direction of a licensed plumber, able to perform basic plumbing skills including unplugging clogs, changing washers, repairing minor leaks, and resolving minor problems in the medical gas system.
• Under the direction of a licensed electrician, able to perform basic electrical skills, changing lamps, trouble shoot and minor repair of nurse call systems.
• Can properly maintain and repair a variety of hospital equipment including; beds, wheelchairs, stretchers, and scales. Performs minor adjustments to patient’s televisions.
• For assigned areas, corrects minor cosmetic deficiencies such as loose base cove, holes in walls, torn wallpaper.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of building trades
• Demonstrated field experience or graduate of trade school.
