Location: Chevy Chase, MD

Job Description: Private family living in Chevy Chase, Maryland looking to hire a housekeeper who can cook dinners 2-3 times a week (kosher)- mom can teach kosher rules.The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for a housekeeper to keep our house clean and in order while we are at work, and to prepare dinner for the family on certain evenings. Daily tasks would include: tidying the house, picking up clutter from the floor and surfaces, wiping tables and counters, dishes, emptying and loading the dishwasher, making beds, taking out the trash, etc. Weekly tasks would include: Family grocery shopping (a debit card will be provided for the purpose), laundry ( a couple times a week, deeper cleaning of the bathrooms, bedrooms, common spaces, porch, cleaning windows, and changing linens.Monthly tasks would include: Organizing pantry, toys shelves, closet, and garage. Ad hoc/occasional responsibilities would include: Errands such as dry cleaning or UPS store, and picking up 2nd grader from her bus a few blocks away on occasion.What Works Best for Family: We are looking for someone who is organized, reliable, and proactive – helps where they are able without being directly told. We’d love someone who is a good communicator, especially over text/what’s app as we will mostly not be home while they are working. • Personality Traits: detail oriented, someone who is able to schedule their day/week to ensure they aren’t overwhelmed

Position Compensation

• Salary: $30-$35 per hour
• Living Accommodations: Live Out
• Vacation: 2 weeks
• Additional Benefits: Federal holidays off and paid
