Job Description: DescriptionHospitality Controller ($140,000 per year)We are seeking an experienced Hospitality Controller to join our team and lead the accounting and finance operations for various entities within the hospitality industry, including retail stores, full-service restaurants, mobile food trucks, and food production operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to impact a growing organization, ensuring accurate financial reporting, quality industry standards, and strategic financial analysis. The position offers a $140,000 annual salary and the chance to serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership while overseeing a dynamic accounting team. The role also provides the opportunity to drive improvements and efficiencies in financial processes, collaborating closely with senior leadership and operational teams.Responsibilities:

• Monitor day-to-day financial operations across various hospitality locations and a wholesale production facility
• Oversee bank accounts, A/P, A/R, financing, general ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements
• Plan, schedule, and manage the annual budget process, presenting and obtaining budget approval
• Manage all financial reporting for hospitality subsidiaries, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements
• Collaborate with operational leaders to meet financial objectives, minimize food waste, and control labor costs

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Accounting or Finance; MBA or CPA certification preferred
• Extensive experience in the hospitality/food manufacturing industry required
• Minimum of 10 years of experience, with at least 6 years in a managerial role
• Thorough knowledge of hospitality/food production accounting principles
• Experience with hospitality software including Restaurant 365 and Sage, with strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
