- You will perform or advise on work in any of the phases or systems of budget administration.
- You will formulate budget and cost estimates to support plans, programs, and activities including presenting budget estimates, reviewing budget requests and reporting obligations and expenditures.
- You will analyze and recommend alternative methods of financial management of organizational programs and administrative operations.

- This is a Financial Management Level I certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Reviewing budgetary and financial documentation for accuracy; 2) Performing arithmetical computations to verify accuracy documentation; 3) Providing technical advice concerning financial operations; and 4) Researching and analyzing accounting discrepancies to determine correction action.GS-07
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing a computer system or an application to access, edit, print, send, or retrieve financial data; 2) Compiling financial information in an automated system to prepare reports; and 3) Assist with reconciliation of financial accounts.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
