Job Description: FIB/SEM Engineer
Austin, TX5+ years of experience in materials characterization or failure analysis.·
Expertise with grinding, polishing, encapsulation techniques, optical microscopy and a range of sample preparation approaches for a variety of materials·
Expertise in iterative planar polishing·
Ability to perceive device structures in three dimensions·
Data analysis and reporting abilities (i.e. Keynote or equivalent)·
Basic understanding of mechanical assemblies· Past experience with argon ion milling is a plus·
To be successful in this role, you should have an in-depth, hands-on understanding of Dual Beam FIB/SEM·
Familiarity with a wide variety of materials characterization techniques (SEM/ EDS, FTIR, CT/X-Ray, etc..) and fundamental failure analysis methodology
