Job Description: Job Description:Position Title: Economic Development Deputy DirectorTo view all salary ranges for the City of Peoria, please .Tell me more…..The City of Peoria is hiring for an Economic Development Services (EDS) Deputy Director who will assist the Department Director with planning, organizing, reviewing and evaluating real estate development/redevelopment projects, and tasks related to implementing development strategies to attract business and redevelopment opportunities from inception to locate. The Deputy Director will support the day-to-day operations within the EDS team, including implementation of a strategic plan and developing short-and long-term planning and programs to fulfill the strategic plan initiatives. • A combination of municipal/government and private sector experience in supervision, real estate development, revitalization, and research principles;

Must have experience with traveling in-and-out of markets for lead generation, and other sales channels to attract key advanced industries to the City. Experience working in a regional economic development organization and/or a private site selection firm specializing in business attraction is desirable;Licenses/Certifications: Valid Arizona Driver’s License upon hire.
