Job Description: Talascend is currently seeking a Civil Engineering Project/Program Manager for a full-time position in Irving, California.RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Experience with transit-related projects, including facilities
• Experience with rail-related projects
• Specification writing experience, with familiarity in CSI and Greenbook formats
• Proficiency in MicroStation and OpenRoads
• Facility Design experience
• Permit processing experience
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs

REQUIREMENTS:

• 5-10 years of experience in developing construction plans, specifications, and estimates
• Background in field engineering and Design Support During Construction
• Strong client relations abilities
• High proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Skilled in site grading, utility, and drainage design
• Experienced in street improvement design and public works design
• Solid foundation in site development
• Proven experience in leading design teams and mentoring junior engineers
• Knowledge, and expertise in general civil engineering, strong Civil 3D proficiency, and demonstrated experience in developing PS&E for civil projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program
• PE License in California or ability to obtain through comity

PREFERERED:

• Proficient in Hydrology/Hydraulic design and calculations
• Experience with SUSMPs, WQMPs, and SWPPPs
• QSD/QSP registration is a plus

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the work of consultants providing design peer review and construction cost estimates
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate the preparation of program documents for multiple major projects
