As a key strategic advisor, you’ll collaborate with physician chairs, senior executives, and cross-functional teams to shape the future of healthcare delivery while leveraging cutting-edge BI tools.The Business Intelligence Lead will provide timely and actionable market intelligence and strategic analysis to senior leaders to assist in the development and execution of enterprise strategy. Work collaboratively with executives, physician chairs, other senior leaders and subject matter experts to answer healthcare business questions.Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of experience leading large, complex business intelligence projects in a healthcare environment required.
- Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, computer science, finance, health care administration or related field required.
- Experience extracting, analyzing, and communicating market trends and healthcare forecasting required.
- Experience leading and participating in teams to apply collective expertise toward business challenges and drive strategic growth required.
- Minimum of five years of experience with business intelligence platforms such as, but not limited to Tableau, Xcelsius, Cognos, Cogito, Strata, ArcMap required.
- Experience with relational database systems such as SQL Server or Oracle required.
- Proven track record of process improvements required.
- Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications required.
- Skilled in collecting and communicating market intelligence required.
- Ability to lead business intelligence projects and work with senior level executive teams, physician chairs, academic leaders, and other stakeholders in developing healthcare business strategies and mitigating enterprise risks required.
- Ability to translate broad requests and questions into meaningful trends, recommendations, and new business insight required. Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts to deliver a comprehensive work product to end users.
- Ability to interact with internal and external executives, physicians, attorneys, brokers, operational staff, patients, and other individuals with precise, concise, and effective oral and written communication required.
- Ability to master unique datasets in the business intelligence space and understand and communicate limitations of such datasets required.
- Possess the confidence needed to make decisions in challenging situations required.
- Comfortable working in an innovative think tank environment required.
- Ability to extract, scrub, and merge data from multiple sources to answer pertinent business questions required.
- Demonstrated ability in analyzing and clearly presenting health care and population-based information required.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and execute work independently and effectively within deadlines required.
- Ability to ensure accuracy on all work products with the utmost reliability required.
- Proficiency in process improvement required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Working experience with multiple aspects of the health care system such as care delivery, clinical operations, finance, patient access, insurance, revenue cycle preferred.
- Track record of driving innovation in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Understanding of patient flow along the continuum of care preferred.
- Experience in geospatial analysis preferred.
- Predictive analytics experience preferred.
- Knowledge of statistics preferred.
- Working knowledge of SQL database management preferred.
