- Assists in the planning, review, and reporting of data/statistical results of program/project studies and performs a basic analysis of the data and generates a variety of reports.
- Reviews documents, reports, and/or applications for omissions and inconsistencies, and ensures data entry is complete and accurate.
- Enters pertinent information into an automated tracking system and maintains automated system of program-specific data to track suspense’s on items such as project milestones, progress reports, funding accomplishments, compliance strategies.
- Serves as the contracting officer’s representative (COR) for all Peri-operative and SPS associated contracts and manages equipment lifecycle replacement plan, and associated budget and funding requests.
- Maintains the appointment calendar, schedules appointments, reminds supervisor/staff members of the subject matter prior to the meeting and makes administrative arrangements as required.
- Justifies and requests replacements for outdated equipment by identifying the outdated equipment, gathering relevant information on office equipment, or requesting office equipment for own work area.
- Provides for the maintenance of data related to the budget and expenditure estimates in order to provide the best possible patient care within the allotted budget.
- Advises on fund shortages, overtime expenditures, and makes recommendations regarding funding or program adjustments to promote program effectiveness and efficiency.
- Participates in annual budget planning and implementation for the section programs; monitors and tracks the program budget throughout the fiscal year.
- Evaluates, processes, and makes recommendations for effective organizational changes to support process improvement plans and goals for the entire service.
- Performs all duties as assigned.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications Requirements:
For GS-9:
Possess at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level of (GS-7) in Federal service. Specialized experience is possessing a broad range of administrative policies and regulations applicable to the administration of a complex clinical support service across a healthcare system; possessing a wide variety of administrative management areas (i.e., budget, finance, equipment property, and facility space requirements etc.). ORPossess a master’s or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study. If that information cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours should be considered as satisfying the 1 year of full-time study requirement. (TRANSCRIPTS REQUIRED) ORPossess a Combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements for the grade level. To be computed by first determining the applicant’s total qualifying experience as a percentage of the experience required for the grade level; then determining the applicant’s education as a percentage of the education required for the grade level; and then adding the two percentages. The total percentages must equal at least 100 percent to qualify an applicant for that grade level. Only graduate education in excess of the amount required for the next lower grade level may be used to qualify applicants for positions at grades GS-9.
