Job Description: Overview:Cooks produce prepared foods in accordance with PCC recipes for the deli case, hot bar, soup bar and other deli stations. They provide excellent, professional customer service. Job Locations: US-WA-Ballard – Seattle Address: 1451 N.W. 46th St. Comp Details: Starting Wage Range: $20.22 – $20.42/hour, depending on experience. Full Wage Range: $20.22 – $26.15/hour. Main Job Responsibilities:Provides excellent, professional customer serviceProduces prepared foods in accordance with PCC recipesEnsures department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are metFollows department safe food handling proceduresFollows department merchandising standards and proceduresPerforms packaging dutiesMay be in charge of production tasksMay oversee other kitchen staff as assignedParticipates in recipe development and recipe costingMay perform ordering responsibilitiesEnsures department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met Qualifications and Skills:Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer serviceAvailable to work a variety of shifts, including weekends2+ years previous production cooking experience preferredAble to work in a fast pace kitchen environmentFamiliarity with specialty and prepared foodsExcellent communication, organizational and multitasking skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamMust be able to meet physical demands including standing, bending, twisting, repetitive motion and lifting 10-40lbs regularly * A current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is requiredMust be at least 18 years of age Benefits and Perks:
