Job Description: Job Title: Tool Maker – High-Precision ManufacturingPosition Summary:
Are you a skilled Tool Maker with a passion for precision and high-quality craftsmanship? Join a respected company with over 34 years of experience in manufacturing, where your expertise in grinding and assembly will make an impact. This role is vital to producing high-precision molds and fixtures that meet rigorous micro-level specifications. If you excel in creating reliable, efficient molds and enjoy working within a collaborative team, this position is for you!What You’ll Do:
- Analyze Specifications: Review CAD models and blueprints to determine the best approach for mold assembly.
- Precision Grinding & Assembly: Perform final grinding and assembly, ensuring all components meet strict accuracy, fit, and function standards.
- Collaborate: Work closely with CNC, EDM, and Polishing teams for seamless assembly.
- Troubleshoot & Optimize: Partner with engineering technicians to test, refine, and troubleshoot molding performance.
- Maintenance & Repair: Address any mold issues promptly to maintain top operating conditions.
- Mentor Apprentices: Provide guidance to apprentice Tool Makers as directed by management.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in high-precision mold building.
- Education: Associate or Technical degree in machine tooling or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Technical Skills: Advanced grinding capabilities, achieving one-tenth of accuracy with ease.
- Attention to Detail & Problem Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills with a meticulous approach.
- Integrity: High ethical standards and discretion with sensitive information.
