• Execute the company’s proprietary biomarker assays, performing tumor sample collection, RNA purification, cDNA synthesis, real-time PCR
• Process blood samples; collect plasma and buffy coats, catalog and track clinical sample inventories
• Monitor and ensure that study reagents, consumables and materials are available for various lab projects; assist in reagent manufacturing, organization and maintenance of the research laboratory; help with purchasing, budgeting, supplies forecasting, and other operational activities
• Assist in assay development and process improvement projects
• Maintain meticulous records and organize clinical study-related materials and documents
• Write and verbally communicate technical observations and findings; assist in preparing comprehensive technical reports for various stakeholders
• Communicate effectively, successfully work in cross-functional teams, be a team player, and be able to interact with a diverse workforce.
• Accomplish research goals within set timelines and budgets in a fast-paced work environment

Qualifications

• Possess a B.A./B.S. in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology or related field with 1-2 years of relevant experience, or a M.S. with 0-1 year of relevant experience. Industry experience is highly preferred.
• Proven experience and understanding of qRT-PCR and other nucleic acid amplification technologies
• A background and thorough understanding of multi-omics, molecular biology assays, oncology biomarkers, and assay development is highly desirable
• Meticulous, organized, and pays attention to detail
• Be able to prioritize and handle multiple projects with competing timelines and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Possess solid communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work well with others

The annualized base salary range for this hourly role is $48,500 – $72,800 and is bonus eligible.
