Work effectively and courteously with fellow employees.Ensure at all times operating principles are being adhered to:Clean – Keep all areas clean and pristine.Safe – Follow all safety policies and procedures.Fun – Have fun! Be interactive with all internal and external guests while maintaining professional standards.Responsible for cashing customers out, giving correct change, and answering customer questions in a courteous and professional manner.Responsible for accurately counting and recording assigned funds and making exchanges of funds throughout the shift.Keeping cash drawer balanced and impressed.Proper payout of slot jackpots, marker issuance and redemption, and chip fills.Verifying and documenting personal identification information for check and cash advance transactions.Completing MTLs.Responsible for guest relations. Ensure safety and security of internal and external guests.Responsible for player’s club transactions, including, but not limited to: bonus point redemptions, issuing comps, and issuing drawing entries for promotions.Other duties as assigned.WORKING CONDITIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSAbility to use all equipment associated with the position, including, but not limited to the use of personal computer, 10-key calculator, jet sorter, photocopier, facsimile machine, currency counter, cash advance system, telephone, and check guarantee system.Ability to read, hear, and speak clearlyAbility to complete formsBasic mathematical functions.Knowledge of Gaming Laws and RegulationsKnowledge of all special events and promotional activitiesKnowledge of company policies and procedures, IRS Bank Secrecy Act, and Internal ControlsGood communication skillsAbility to accurately perform assigned duties under frequent time pressures and an interruptive environmentMust possess the ability to move effectively and efficiently throughout the cageStanding 90%Bending/Lifting 10% (up to 60lbs)Ability to work in a brightly lit, smoked filled casino environment with noise levels.JOB REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or GED equivalentSix months cashier or banking experience preferredMust be able to maintain a pleasant, friendly and welcoming attitude at all timesMust be able to obtain and maintain valid Gaming LicenseMust complete all required company training
