YogaSix was established in 2012 and is the fastest growing boutique yoga company in the United States.POSITION:The Sales Manager (SM) is responsible for the studio’s financial and experiential success. The SM must have a passion for sales & customer service, take pride in their excellent communication skills, be a dedicated team member who drives results, and be passionate about health and wellness.DUTIES

  • Revenue Generation: A studio (yes, even a yoga studio) is a business. Therefore, the primary focus of the studio’s Sales Manager is to manage and grow all revenue streams including:
  • Memberships and Class Packages
  • Retail
  • Workshops, Privates and Teacher Training
  • Student Acquisition and Retention: A successful studio depends on supporting prospective students through the following life cycle:
  • Lead Generation
  • Generating consistent lead flow through a blend of GrassRoots Marketing, Social Media, and Referrals
  • Booking Appointments
  • Contacting leads in a timely manner to establish relationships and get them booked for a class experience
  • Membership Sales
  • Following a successful initial class experience, presenting the best membership option based on the student’s goals
  • Retention
  • Ensure new members are onboarded properly and continue to feel the value of membership through both utilizing classes and ensuring class quality is exceptional
  • Leading the team: Coaching, role-playing, and guiding the Wellness Advisor (sales) staff on sales
  • Meeting:
  • Work closely with the Studio Owner and National Sales Director to ensure the health and profitability of the studio

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Sales & Management Experience
  • 2+ years of retail/service sales or fitness sales experience
  • Confident in generating personal sales and training Wellness Advisors in sales
  • Ability to manage and drive all revenue streams: memberships, retail, and teacher training
  • Proven experience in generating and following up on leads
  • Communication & People Skills
  • Must be fluent in English and have excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email
  • Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers, clients and the general public
  • Ability to stay calm at all times and act respectfully and professionally, even with customers who may voice frustrations
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Solid writing and grammar skills

  • Ability to excel in a fast changing, diverse environment
  • Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. The employee must be able to work hours that may exceed 8 hours per day including nights and weekends, especially during peak activity periods.
  • May be required to sit or stand for up to four hours at a time. May be required to reach with hands and arms. Must be able to bend, lift, kneel, and drive a car. This job requires the person to climb up and down flights of stairs as elevators are not present at all locations. May be asked to occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus
  • Must be able to effectively hear in person and via telephone
