This WIOA Title I financially assisted program or activity is an equal opportunity employer/program: Auxiliary aids and services are available upon requests to individuals with disabilities.Receptionist/Case Manager AssistantModesto, CAFull TimeEntry LevelCOMMUNITY HOUSING AND SHELTER SERVICESJOB DESCRIPTION: RECEPTIONIST/CASE MANAGER ASSISTANTPOSITION OVERVIEW:The Receptionist/Case Manager Assistant is primarily responsible for greeting clients coming into or calling our office as well as assisting Case Managers.This position requires a sensitive and caring individual who is able to develop trust with our clients who may be experiencing homelessness and/or are at imminent risk of becoming homeless.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:· Greet & Sign in Clients· Schedule appointments· Handle incoming calls and checking voicemails· Maintain a clean and friendly area for clients· Data Entry and Filling· Conduct all aspect of work with complete courtesy and respect to clients· Present a professional appearance and attitude at all times· Other duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:· Excellent customer service skills· Communicate effectively, orally and in writing· Computer experience with outlook, excel, word processing· Strong organizational skills· Ability to work with people of diverse cultural backgrounds· Ability to work within a team approachEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:· Minimum of 1 year of Clerical/Receptionist experience in a public or private social services and/or disability or housing agency, with experience in social work, outreach, social services and/or disability-based government program case management programs, and/or housing case management for multi-barrier populations.· Computer experience; outlook, excel, word processing and spreadsheet applicationsLICENSE:· Must have a car for daily use, in-state insurance with your name on the policy.· Applicants must possess and maintain a valid California Driver’s License and remain free from repeatable preventable accidents.DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:· Bilingual, SpanishCOMPENSATION/SALARY:$17.48 per HourBENEFITS SUMMARY· Eligible for benefits after a 3-month introductory period.· Insurance: Medical, Dental and Vision offered up to $600 monthly costs (any overage costs will be paid for by the employee).· Vacation Accrual as follows:1-4 years 10 days per year (2 weeks) 5-9 years 15 days per year (3 weeks) 10 years and thereafter 20 days per year (4 weeks)· Sick Leave Accrual- 8 hours per month· Retirement Plan Available after 1 Year of employmentCLOSING
