The main function of this position is to review documents, tickets/labels, verify merchandise matches documents. Ticket merchandise into tub then scan and send it to pack-out via the conveyors.INTERACTION:· Interaction with other associates and leads in the department.· Some interaction with other individuals within the distribution center and company.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:· Gather all necessary supplies for your work area, including the MX8 scanner, from the equipment cabinet.· Obtain a distro packet and ensure all necessary tags/labels and distro documents are included. Match the document according to the order.· Count the total number of cartons and pallets from the order. If there are any discrepancies immediately contact the lead/supervisor.· Obtain a tub from the lane. Start opening your box and ensure the container is free of any debris.· Ticket merchandise per procedure based on merchandise type. Must be in accordance with the Bealls Outlet Ticketing Guidelines. Scan the distro then the barcode of the container, enter quantity, and place the container on the takeaway conveyor.· Replace the Distro Summary and all associated documents in the plastic distro packets. At the end of the shift hand all documents to the lead.· Log off the MX8 scanner and return it to the equipment cabinet as well as the other materials to their original locations.· Must be in accordance with the Bealls Outlet Ticketing Guidelines.NONESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:· May be required to perform other processing functions or to move to other departments to work, based on business needs.· May be required to move to Flat Packing on a daily basis if necessary.· Complete the ticketing production report for an order if applicable.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to communicate logically and clearly in a group or individual setting.
- Must be able to work flexible hours and adapt to changing work requirements.
- Desire for career advancement in the organization.
- Accurately complete simple math tasks such as counting and adding.
· Must be able to use assigned equipment and tools to complete job responsibilities.PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:· Annual performance appraisal administered by the respective supervisor.· Attainment of annual goals established between supervisor and incumbent.· Maintain accuracy and at least a 100 PIP percentage on a six week rolling period.
