Job Description: Director of New Development opportunity in MiamiOur client offers concierge style expediting service specializing in building permits, special event permit & business license acquisition is seeking a Director of New Development to join their very fast-growing Sunny Isles family-owned office.The Director of New Development is the person in charge of the team of people handling all projects related to new development of towers, residential, commercial or of mixed use, in the various municipalities, and have basic Planning experience to represent their clients at zoning, architectural review and variance hearings.● Perform all job duties, activities and responsibilities of Project Managers, as needed (see job description for Project Manager).
● Oversee, supervise and direct all Project Managers, Dedicated Expediters and anyone else providing support for the day, ensure the quality of their work.
● Act as a point of contact (or assign a point of contact) for any developer, architect, contractor or owner, and create clear expectations for the overall project.
● Review accuracy of packages for submittals to the building department, Private Providers, or any other government agencies, ensuring that packages are complete.

• 3+ years of construction or related industry experience, bilingual Spanish a plus.
