Job Description: Description :KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Operate production equipment; utilize tools to build Electro-Mechanical assemblies in compliance with Work Instructions, Assembly prints, and Bills of Material (BOM’s)
- Utilize required materials/tools to fasten components on subassemblies/unit assemblies and document build results
- Execute to daily, weekly, and monthly production plans; notify supervision of issues or discrepancies
- Test assemblies for functional performance and may adjust, repair or replace malfunctioning parts in compliance with work instructions
- Complete daily production logs and reports of activities; manage self to goal attainment
- Identify problems and take corrective actions within scope of authority, and notify supervisor of actions taken
- Strict attention to detail required, including documentation of workflows, test results, and repair activities
- Verify raw material and component revision and count in assembly process
- Inspect, reject, and document raw material, components, and work-in-process quality
- Performs self-inspection or work completed before moving to the next step
- Operate within Work Instructions/SOP’s, Job Safety, OSHA, FDA, and ISO 13485 standards without deviation
- Learn and receive training on manufacturing products/processes; train and coach other assembly associates as required
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment according to 6S principles
- Maintain a positive and winning attitude and ability to interact well with all associates, and multi-task for the benefit of the team
- Work overtime and perform other duties as assigned to support Manufacturing Operations
- Clearly and effectively communicate with peers, Engineers, supervisor, and other department associates
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- High school diploma plus 2+ years related experience. Additional college or vocational school training is a plus
- IPC 610 or 620 Training, or certification is a plus
- Experience working with sheet metal, plastics, adhesives, conductive coatings, PCBAs, Wiring Harnesses, and soldering
- Experience with assembly, testing, and troubleshooting Motion Control Systems is a plus
- Experience in electro-mechanical assemblies is a plus
- Proper working knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge)
- Basic computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office products
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and work both in teams and independently
- Attention to detail and quality of work are required skills
- Ability to perform repetitive, hands-on assembly, testing, and repair tasks with a proficiency in the use of hand tools and test equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Perform physical activities (lifting up to 50 lbs.) that require considerable use of arms and legs and occasionally moving whole body repeatedly, such as walking and balancing (able to work 8 to 10 hours)

- Other duties as assigned by the team leader/manager
- Able to work overtime as required
