Job Description: Are you a skilled attorney with 3+ years of experience in trust, estates, and probate law? Our client is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable lawyer to join their team. As a key member of the practice, you will handle a variety of complex matters relating to estate planning, probate administration, and trust management, working closely with clients to ensure their wishes are effectively carried out.Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and review estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
- Provide legal advice on wealth preservation strategies, tax implications, and asset protection
- Represent clients in probate court, handling estate administration, contested wills, and trust litigation
- Advise fiduciaries and beneficiaries on the duties and rights within estate and trust administration
- Manage guardianship and conservatorship cases
- Collaborate with financial planners, accountants, and other professionals to create comprehensive estate plans
- Ensure compliance with Ohio probate laws and regulations
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active bar license in the state of Ohio
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in trust, estates, and probate law
- Strong understanding of Ohio’s probate code and estate tax laws
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines with attention to detail
- Experience in trust and estate litigation is a plus
