Water Reclamation Section Manager position is responsible for overseeing the operations of 3 water reclamation facilities (60, 22, and 16 MGD). The Operations Group is made up of approximately 100 operations staff and is responsible for maintaining consistent wastewater discharge standards. The Water Reclamation Section Manager is responsible for the development and overall management of the operations budget at all three Water Reclamation facilities. This position will also work with the Section Managers for maintenance and predictive maintenance to optimize the operation and management of the facilities. There are multiple on-going repair, rehabilitation and upgrade projects being conducted at the facilities and this position will be responsible for maintaining the operation during these activities. The position is a key member of the team developing the Capital Improvement Program and implementing the near-term rehabilitation and repair programs. The Water Reclamation Section Manager will prepare and present reports related to compliance, budget and personnel on a regular basis.Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field;
  • Eight years of wastewater treatment experience, including three as a manager.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position listed above.
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Class One Wastewater Operator Certification
