POSITION OVERVIEWThis position is for highly organized and customer-centric independent contractors who have a passion for delivering outstanding results. Previous handyman experience is necessary. This position’s fit is focused on complete job material procurement to delivering a 5-star finish for customer. This is a great opportunity to develop alongside a fast-growing company. Flexibility based on seasonal work could be required.House Doctors is a professional handyman and home improvement service company specializing in both large and small jobs in the Fox Valley area. We are looking for energetic and friendly contractors who enjoy working on various home improvement and maintenance projects such as repairs, flooring, drywall, carpentry, painting, etc.RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide and work under their own insurance
• Procure, carry, and maintain own work force
• Wear and present House Doctors Swag while on projects
• Completing handyman and home improvement projects such as repairs, flooring, drywall, carpentry, painting, remodels of bath/kitchen.
• Able to scope and quantify time and materials for projects
• Organizing and managing equipment required to complete daily tasks
• Working and communicating with clients to provide exceptional customer service
• Representing House Doctors while on partnered projets
• Providing and maintaining tool inventory to complete each project

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• 3+ years of labor or handyman services
• Own general liability insurance and auto insurance policies
• Hands on with a knowledge of the principles, techniques, equipment, and supplies used in the handyman industry
• Ability to learn and operate basic computer programs and systems
• Friendly personality and committed to great customer service
• A strong work ethic and highly dependable
• Ability to manage jobs and work on a computer/tablet
• Able to perform physical labor work including bending, lifting (50+ lbs), and handling tools
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle to transport self & tools to job.
