The licensed physical therapist assistant functions in accordance with their State Practice Act. Must be able to accurately document in a clear, concise manner on all treatment given.QUALIFICATIONS:1. Must be a graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program or successfully challenged theCalifornia Board examination.2. Must possess a current California physical therapist assistant license.3. Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used inphysical therapy.4. Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements.5. Ability to read, write, communicate and comprehend in the English language.6. Ability to understand and follow the directions of the physical therapist and the policies and procedures ofthe department.7. BLS certification required and maintained thereafter.8.
