Job Description: Description :This position is responsible for the coordination of scheduling of patients for interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization patients. Accurate and complete intake of information for purposes of patient needs assessment are critical to this role as the radiologist will determine patient care plan based on information intake. Position will put together clinical information including lab tests, films, H & P, consent forms, pre and post procedure orders as well as teaching guides. Staff member will be responsible for calling pathology reports to both patients and physicians with documentation into Meditech follow up menu. Position will need to develop good working relationships with ordering physician practice staff as well as build trust and good rapport with the radiologists. Act as a call center for other areas within radiology.Experience:

• One year of medical experience in Radiology Terminology and typist keyboard proficiency (50 words + per minute) preferred
• Experience working with Meditech preferred.

Education and Training:

• High School Diploma required.
• Formalized training in medical terminology preferred.

License, Certification & Registration:

• CPR Required.

Other Requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal communications.

Hours:M-F 0730-1600 or 0700-1530No weekends or holidays
