Job Description: BASIC FUNCTIONAt RLWS, the Paint Prep Operator controls phosphatizing equipment (power
washer/spray wand) to prep parts for painting. The employee operates power hand tools such as: hand grinders, dual
action (da) sanders and wire wheels, and ensures that all parts are prepared
prior to painting to guarantee proper paint adhesion. The Paint Prep Operator
must have the ability to work with phosphatizing chemicals.*This position may be eligible for our new $100/week incentive based on performance and hours worked! Apply to learn more.ESSENTIAL JOB
FUNCTIONS/MAJOR TASKSOperates phosphatizing equipment on an assortment of
products. Sets up and maintains
equipment. Ensures products are
correctly prepared.Maintains a neat, clean and organized work area while
performing paint prep duties.Maintains accurate records of time and quantities,
etc.Operate powered industrial truck (forklift) and overhead
crane(s)QUALIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITESEducation and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or equivalentSkillsGood reading skillsGood powered hand tool skillsBlueprint Reading skills preferredAbility to operate a powered industrial lift (forklift)
