Job Description: Trust Operations ProcessorJoin Our Team as a Trust Operations Processor at Countybank!Location: Greenville, SC (other Countybank locations will be considered).About the Role: Countybank is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our Trust team as a Trust Operations Processor. This role is vital to our operations, involving diverse data entry and reconciliation tasks. You will work closely with the Senior Trust Officer and the Trust Operations team to ensure all essential functions are performed on time, adhering to internal guidelines and external requirements.Key Responsibilities:Balancing and Reconciliation:

  • Perform daily settlement and reconciliation with the asset custodian, including trades and income posting.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliation of assets held with asset custodians.
  • Maintain the schedule and conduct semi-annual vault audits of assets with another trust services team member.

Accounts Management:

  • Set up new accounts in the Trust Accounting System after verifying all required documentation.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing asset transfers for client accounts with Asset Custodians.
  • Process and handle the operational aspects of closing accounts in the Trust Accounting System.
  • Upload monthly and quarterly statements to the client portal.
  • Update and maintain client and payee addresses and information in the system as needed.

Accounting Functions:

  • Review and process client payables (e.g., invoices) following established procedures.
  • Print and mail checks to customers or arrange for customer pick-up.
  • Prepare wires and ACHs and submit ACH files as necessary.
  • Process distribution requests (invoices, IRA, etc.), ensuring all required paperwork is completed and authorized.
  • Monitor department sweep accounts for Trust and DDAs, initiating transfers as needed.

Additional Operations:

  • Handle daily deposits of checks and electronic contributions into client accounts.
  • Prepare and update various reports.
  • Collaborate with the Trust Administrator to maintain account forms in the shared folder.
  • Monitor the group email inbox and direct email requests appropriately.
  • Scan and index documents following established procedures.
  • Add users to the online Client Portal as needed and provide reset support upon request.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration or accounting from an accredited college or university is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in trust services, brokerage, or a similar setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and a high level of experience with MS Office.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to solve problems effectively.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of initiative.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
