Job Description: Position: Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
Location: Manchester, NH (Hybrid)
Compensation: $75,000 – $95,000 (DOE) + Discretionary Bonus and Profit Sharing + 401k Matching + PTO + Comprehensive BenefitsDescription:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join our dynamic Real Estate and Development Practice Group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing substantive legal work, including:
- Conducting full title searches and updates
- Issuing reports, title commitments, and proforma policies
- Preparing preliminary drafts of conveyancing and closing documents, including settlement statements and real estate transfer tax forms
- Supporting other firm practice groups with their real estate needs
- Handling additional tasks as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Familiarity with NH Title Examination Standards (knowledge of MA REBA Standards is a plus)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional demeanor with a positive attitude and high ethical standards
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work efficiently while exercising good judgment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to take initiative
- Sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Direct client interaction experience
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal, some Commercial Real Estate experience is required
- Title experience is required (Title Abstracting and Title Policy)
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and legal software
- Commitment to continuing legal education
