Location: Memphis, TN

Job Description: Sheba Foods, renowned for its authentic African cuisine and nationwide frozen meal distribution, is seeking a dedicated Shipper/Receiver to manage the critical flow of goods in and out of our facility. This role ensures that our customers enjoy timely deliveries and our warehouse remains well-stocked and organized.Key Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities and quality, and record them accurately.
• Prepare, package, and label outgoing orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to shipping standards.
• Inspect products for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
• Coordinate with delivery services for on-time pickups and deliveries.
• Maintain up-to-date shipping and receiving logs and ensure proper documentation.
• Organize and maintain the receiving and shipping areas for maximum efficiency.
• Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to move materials as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with vendors and team members.
• Familiarity with shipping software or willingness to learn.
• Certification to operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus.
