Job Description: Hudson Tool Stee;, part of the Ryerson family of companies, has an opportunity for a Receiving Supervisor position. In this role you are responsible for supervising all receiving activities within the warehouse which includes verifying quantities, comparing to purchasing requirements, etc.The future will be made from metal. • Signs off on quantity of product received and shipment condition
• Counts, verifies quantity received, and checks for damage
• Compares receiving records to purchasing requirements
• Notifies Plant Manager or Supply Chain Manager of any discrepancies
• Understand and use Inventory Control System
• Organizes inventory
• Verifying purchased product (QC inspection)
• Disposition of material in appropriate area
• Tag/Mark color code on all incoming material
• Load / Unload trucks
• Assign inventory locations for received materials
• Vendor follow up for deliveries, missing material, quality issues, etc.
• Receiving material into the computer system
• Coordinate and manage activities of personnel helping in receiving

Position Requirements:
▪ High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience
▪ Supervisory experience in a warehouse setting
▪ Knowledge of all warehouse machine and equipment operations
