Job Description: AltaStaff is a staffing agency currently looking for a Bilingual Call Center Representative to work with our Managed Care Client!**We are looking for bilingual candidates who are fluent in Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Korean, Haitian Creole, or Punjabi****This position is fully in-office, located in Manhattan, NY**Pay Rate: $18.00/hrSchedule: Full time schedule within Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm EST.Job Responsibilities:Responds to enrollment services calls, provides responses to questions, mails information in response to request, and refers callers in the event of problems or concerns.Assesses client’s health care needs and assists clients in choosing a health plan.Maintains updated knowledge of the New York Medicaid CHOICE Project.Assists clients in enrolling/disenrolling in health plans and receives and sorts enrollment/disenrollment forms.Processes enrollment/disenrollment forms.Performs managed care education and enrollment services when call volume warrants.Meets all standards established for this position as outlined in the attached performance criteria.Performs other duties as may be assigned by the Call Center Supervisor or Management.Skills/Experience:Must be bilingualHigh school diploma or GED equivalent requiredAssociate degree preferred2+ years of customer service experience required2+ years of healthcare/human service experience preferredProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and must be able to type 35+ WPMExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independentlyAltaStaff is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
