Job Description: Job Title:Logistics TechnicianJob Description:Here at Entegris, we use advanced science to enable technologies that transform the world, and we are seeking employees who have the drive to continue that mission.The Role:Our site in Burnet is seeking a Logistics Technician II in receiving to join our team.In this role you would be responsible for receiving in chemical vessels into the plant and processing them to be ready for refurbishment of those vessels.What You’ll Do:Safely Package outgoing chemical vessels into SAP, ensuring accurate data entry and inventory tracking.Safely unpackage vessels from their overpacks or UN containers, following all handling protocolsApply proper labeling to all outgoing vessels, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirementsSort chemical vessels into appropriate categories (e.g., good or bad) based on inspection criteria, and ensure proper handling and storage for each categoryWork closely with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of all chemical vessels.What We Seek:A proactive individual who has experience in shipping, inspecting materials, and ensuring accurate documentation.Solid background in managing warehouse functions such as shipping, receiving, and organizing materials, while maintaining strict attention to detail in all processes to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.Outstanding Candidates Will Have:Proven experience using SAP for inventory and logistics management.Certified to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.Ability to lift 50 lbs unassisted and handle heavy equipment or materials.Minimum of 2+ years of experience working with chemicals, including safe handling and storage procedures.Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, store, and organize chemical vesselsWhat We Offer:At Entegris, we invest in providing opportunity to our employees and promote from within.
